FCS-401 & FCS-402 Slab Bolsters


FCS-401 Slab bolster is used for supporting lower slab steel from slab form. Legs are spaced 5” on center. Available in 3/4” to 3” heights in 5’-0” lengths. Other lengths available on request.
FCS-402 Slab bolster with plastic tip is used for supporting lower slab steel from slab form. Legs are spaced 5” on center. Available in 3/4” to 3” heights in 5’-0” lengths. Other lengths available on request.






FCS-404 Slab Bolster With Plate


FCS-404 Slab bolster with plate is used for supporting lower slab steel on fill or other soft material. Details are the same as for standard slab bolster with the addition of a bearing plate. Available in 5’-0” lengths only.






FCS-403 Slab Bolster Upper


FCS-403 Slab bolster upper is used for supporting one layer of steel above another and spacing them to required distance. May be used on soft material or fill. Standard leg spacing is 5” on centers. Heights and lengths are same as slab bolsters. Fabricated in standard 5’-0” lengths. Other lengths available on request.






FCS-405 & FCS-406 Beam Bolster

FCS-405 Beam bolster is used to support lower beam steel from the slab form. All legs spaced 2-1/2” on centers. Available in 3/4” to 5” heights in 5’-0” lengths. Other lengths available on request.
FCS-406 Beam bolster with plastic tip is used to support lower beam steel from the slab form. All legs spaced 2-1/2” on centers. Available in 3/4” to 5” heights in 5’-0” lengths. Other lengths available on request.






FCS-407 Beam Bolster Upper

FCS-407 Beam bolster upper is used to support successive layers of steel one above the other. Legs spaced 2-1/2” on centers in standard 5’-0” lengths. Other lengths available on request.






FCS-408 Beam Bolster With Plate

FCS-408 Beam bolster with plate is used to support heavy bottom steel on soft material. Details are same as for standard beam bolster with the addition of a bearing plate. Available in 5’-0” lengths only.






FCS-409 Joist Chairs

>FCS-409 Joist chairs are used to support two bottom bars in the ribs of joist- or grid-type slabs. Available in 4”, 5”, and 6” widths and 3/4”, 1” and 1-1/2” heights.






FCS-410 Individual Bar Chairs


FCS-410 Individual bar chairs are used to support wide-spaced light steel in slab/deck construction. Available in 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/2”, and 1-3/4” heights.

FCS-410 High chairs for metal decking are made with different length legs to fit design of a metal deck. Other information same as individual high chairs.






FCS-412 & FCS-413 Individual High Chairs


FCS-412 Individual high chairs are designed to support upper slab steel from mat steel. May also be used on fill to obtain leg bearing. Made to order in heights from 2” to 20”. Height is from underside of cross bars to seat for reinforcing bar at top of chair. Also available with plastic tip or epoxy coated (FCS-413).






FCS-414 Special High Chairs

FCS-414 Special high chairs are used for supporting upper slab/deck steel directly or by means of a carrier bar. When heights exceed 12”, legs are reinforced with welded crosswires or encircling wire. Available in 2” to 20” heights.






FCS-415 Individual High Chair With Plate


FCS-415 Individual high chair with plate is used for supporting lower slab steel on fill or other soft material. Details are same as for individual high chairs with the addition of two bearing plates.






FCS-418 Continuous High Chair Upper


FCS-418 Continuous high chair upper is used for supporting one layer of steel above another and spacing them to required distance. May be used on soft material or fill. Standard leg spacing is 7-1/2” on centers. Heights and lengths are same as slab bolsters. Fabricated in standard 5’-0” lengths. Other lengths available on request.






FCS-419 Continuous High Chair With Plate


FCS-419 Continuous high chair with plate is used to support slab steel on fill or other soft materials. Details are same as continuous high chairs, with the addition of bearing plates.






FCS-700 Plastic Dowel Caps

FCS-700 Plastic dowel caps are used to allow smooth dowels to move in a contraction joint. Dowel caps are manufactured with a positive stop in the cap. Dowel caps are available in 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1”, 1-1/4”, and 1-1/2” diameters. All dowel caps are 4” long.






FCS-701 Plastic Rebar Safety Cap

FCS-701 Plastic rebar safety cap “mushroom cap” is used to protect workers from projecting rebar on job sites. Available in #4 and #11 sizes.






FCS-703 All-Plastic Slab Bolster

FCS-703 All-plastic slab bolster is designed to support extreme weight loads for lower slab steel from slab forms.






FCS-702 OSHA Approved Safety Cap (PC-100)

FCS-702 The “PC-100” safety cap is certified by CAL-OSHA to protect construction workers from impalement injuries by falls up to 7-1/2 ft. The U.S. Dept. of Labor has reviewed product data associated with the PC-100 and concluded that the device meets applicable federal OSHA requirements relating to impalement injuries.






FCS-707 Plastic Plugs

FCS-707 Plastic plugs are used to plug snap ties holes in plywood forms. Available in 9/16” (5,000 pcs/bag) and 13/16” (2,500 pcs/bag) diameters.
